How to Sync a LearnDash Group to Membership Plans
Tie a LearnDash group to one or more membership plans, so that everyone in the group is automatically given those memberships — and therefore the courses the plans grant. Useful for cohorts and organisations.
- MemberDash with LearnDash active.
- A LearnDash group (LearnDash LMS → Groups).
- One or more membership plans to associate.
1. Open the group's Membership Plans metabox
Go to LearnDash LMS → Groups and edit (or add) the group. Find the MemberDash Membership Plans metabox on the group editor — it lists your membership plans as checkboxes.
2. Select the plans and add members
Check the plan(s) this group should grant. Add the group's members (and leaders) via the group's Users / Leaders, then Update the group.
Result
Every member and leader of the group is given a user membership for each selected plan, which in turn grants the plans' course access. Adding a user to the group grants the memberships; removing them — or removing a plan from the group — removes the memberships that were created through the group.
