5.2 Module Tabs and Settings
Every BeaverDash module has a settings panel that opens when you place or click the module in Beaver Builder. The panel is organized into tabs. Understanding the tab structure helps you find any setting quickly.
Common tab structure
Most BeaverDash modules follow this layout:
General tab — Content and behaviour settings specific to this module. This is where you control what data is shown, how it behaves, and any module-specific options (for example, the Mark Complete module's Redirect setting, or the Course Navigation module's quiz visibility toggles).
Style tab — Visual presentation settings that apply to any module: typography, colors, width, padding, and border. These settings are consistent across all modules.
Some modules have additional tabs for specific functionality — for example, the Video module has a separate Image tab for the featured image fallback, which only appears when you enable the fallback option in General.
LD3+ settings
Some settings within a module only appear when LearnDash 3.0+ is active. They are noted in the module's General tab with a (LearnDash 3.0+ only) label. On older LearnDash versions, those fields are not rendered.
Finding settings for a specific module
The References Hub has a complete settings table for every module. Each module page lists every tab and every setting in plain language. If you are unsure what a setting does, check the module's reference page first before experimenting.
