07. Frequently Asked Questions about BeaverDash

In this section, we address some of the most frequently asked questions about BeaverDash, its integration with Beaver Builder, and how it works alongside LearnDash. Whether you’re a new user or looking for specific troubleshooting advice, you’ll find answers to common queries here.

Can I deactivate sites to free up my quota?

You can log into your account and manage the websites activated for any given license. From there you can deactivate any sites you no longer required automatic updates on and they won't count against your quota anymore.

Can I share my license?

Pro and Agency licenses are meant for use within 1 organisation. You may use your license on your personal projects or your company's projects, as well as the projects you or your company delivers to clients. The support that comes with our Pro and Agency licenses covers email support for 1 person (the account holder). If you need a license for more than 25 activations, support for more than 1 person or activation on a multisite network please get in touch.

Do you offer refunds?

You can see our entire refund policy here. The gist of it is that we don’t provide refunds on beta versions since you are assuming the risks involved with a beta product in exchange for a significant discount. On official full releases we do generally offer a refund within 14 days of purchase with some exceptions noted in the policy.

How can I cancel my subscription?

Cancelling your subscription is as easy as visiting your account page here, clicking the "subscriptions" tab, finding the subscription you want to cancel, clicking "cancel" and following the on-screen instructions from there. If you have any trouble contact [email protected]

How does beta pricing work?

While we're in alpha/beta, we'll be offering generous discounts that will apply for the duration of a subscription. You'll be grandfathered into that reduced pricing for as long as you keep your subscription active. In general alpha/beta pricing is around for about a month before we switch to regular pricing.

I'm not a developer, is BeaverDash for me?

If you are already comfortable using Beaver Themer and shortcodes, you’ll likely find BeaverDash is easy enough to use for non-developers. Initially it will require some advanced knowledge to create more complex layouts, but over time we will add easy drag-and-drop modules. In the Agency version of the plugin we include some free templates that can serve as a great starting point.

What level of support do you offer?

It’s our priority to make our plugins as useful as possible. We plan on being quite active during alpha/beta testing phases and are looking to get a lot of feedback on the options and features you want to see included. We won’t be able to provide support for features/options that aren’t yet developed but will be available to help debug issues with existing features.

Outside of betas, we'll generally be available to help with one active domain per license and will help resolve issues that stem from bugs in our software. Customization or compatibility with 3rd party plugins/themes (outside of the ones a plugin is meant to integrate with) will generally not be covered.

What other plugins/themes do I need in order to use BeaverDash?

You'll definitely need Beaver Builder, Beaver Themer and LearnDash. While it might be possible to get by without Beaver Themer, we don't recommend using BeaverDash without it. We've been testing using the official Beaver Theme, but BeaverDash will likely work with any Beaver Themer compatible theme.

Is BeaverDash wpmu / network / multisite ready?

We offer a separate version of BeaverDash that includes network-wide activation and settings while removing the sub-site settings panel. The standard BeaverDash Pro, Agency and Team Tangible Membership versions of BeaverDash will not be suitable for a network environment as each sub-site would need to be managed and activated separately.

Will this work on a WordPress.com site?

No. None of our plugins work on WordPress.com. Everything we make is for self-hosted (wordpress.org) websites.

Can I upgrade my license later?

Yep! You can do this by visiting your account (you'll need to login) and clicking the "upgrade" button in the licenses tab.

What counts as an activation?

You can activate your license on any WP website in order to receive automatic updates. If you don't need automatic updates on a website, you can always de-activate the license so it won't count against your limit.
