LearnDash Manage a group

MemberDash enhances LearnDash by providing features for membership management and course access control. It enables the creation and management of membership plans, including granting access to specific courses and content, by the WordPress administrator.

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to the LearnDash tab.

  2. Click on the "Groups" section to view a list of all your groups.

  3. Hover the group that you want to modify and select the button "Edit" or create a new one (see the previous page)

  4. Scroll down to the Memberships section, here you can set content restriction, and allow members of the group to access to a membership plan by clicking on the “Add New Rule” button and select a plan in the dropdown list, you can set the accessibility of your content with the toggle button (it could be immediately available, or during a specific time).

  5. Scroll down to the Membership plans and there you can add or remove the group to one or more membership, by doing this the users in the group will automatically get access to the related courses of the membership plan.

  6. Define the courses you want to offer to your group in the courses tab, click on the courses that you want to add and then click on the right arrow. To remove a course you can click on the course that you want to delete from the group, and click on the left arrow. (You can add or remove multiple courses at once by maintaining ctrl + click).

  7. Add the users you want to put in your group in the Users tab, click on the user that you want to add and then click on the right arrow. To remove a user you can click on the user that you want to delete from the group, and click on the left arrow. (You can add or remove multiple users at once by maintaining ctrl + click).

  8. Click on Update to publish your change in the group.

Note : When a user is added to a group, they get access to the related membership plans and access for related courses. If they are deleted from the group, they lose the content. If they get access to the course from other sources, there will be no change even if they are added to the group.
