10. Frequently Asked Questions
Does the plugin work without LearnDash?
No. Tangible Tweaks for LearnDash is an add-on for LearnDash. Without it, the plugin stays dormant and does nothing.
Do I have to use all the features?
No, and that is the point of the design. Every feature is off by default, and only enabled features load any code. Enable exactly the tweaks your site needs and ignore the rest.
Will enabling a feature change my site immediately?
The feature becomes active as soon as you save, but most features only act somewhere specific: a new option on lesson settings, a shortcode you choose to place, an admin screen. Nothing is injected into your public pages unless the feature's own flow puts it there.
What happens if I disable a feature later?
The feature's behaviour stops, and its settings remain saved. Re-enabling picks up where you left off. Data created while the feature was active (users created by group leaders, completions recorded via forms) is normal WordPress and LearnDash data and is not removed.
Do I need Gravity Forms?
Only for the Gravity Forms Lesson/Topic Completion feature. Everything else works with LearnDash alone. If you don't use Gravity Forms, leave that feature disabled.
Can group leaders see the WordPress admin?
They don't need to. The group user-management tools render on ordinary pages you build with shortcodes, so leaders can create and remove members entirely from the front end.
Does shared lesson completion affect quizzes or topics?
Shared completion applies to lessons: completing an independently accessible lesson marks all instances of that lesson complete. Topics and quizzes attached to a lesson still behave as LearnDash dictates within each course.
Is the plugin multisite compatible?
The plugin follows standard WordPress plugin conventions. For a specific multisite configuration, we recommend testing on a staging copy first, and asking support if you hit anything unexpected.
Where do I get updates?
Activate your license (4.2 License Activation) and updates arrive through the normal WordPress updates screen, delivered by the Tangible platform.
